Classy hardcover books are the perfect package for displaying successful projects in text and image - be it the review of the successful company event, the product overview of the current lifestyle products or the high-end construction projects of the successful architect: an outstanding content deserves an excellent exterior.

A hardcover book also serves wonderfully as a yearbook or as a very personal present for special events. The classy cover, the durable manufacturing, and the photo-realistic imaging of a hardcover book are unrivalled. Costumers particularly appreciate the so-called headband, which we automatically insert to the back of all hardcovers with a thickness of at least 8 mm.

Hardcover books create value. They are available in numerous versions, each of them to make every book individually outstanding. Unlike softcovers, hardcovers come with a hard book cover, giving the book durability and stability. The back is additionally enforced with gauze and a backstrip. Favoured materials for binding are linen or synthetic leather. With additional finishing such as blind embossing, colour embossing, hot foil stamping, high gloss or matt laminating, different letterpress textures, or spot UV varnish, you will make your hardcover a best seller.

Hardcover books with PUR adhesive binding are hard-wearing and extremely long-lasting. The PUR glue used in the binding proves durable even with higher grammages. Due to automated production, PUR adhesive binding is very inexpensive, and short production times make it a great alternative even for a short-term demand.

Thread-stitching is a very high-quality way of binding a book in industrial book production. This process is particularly suitable for books that require high durability, are used by many people, or often remain opened when in use. That applies to manuals or cookbooks, for example.

Design options:

The variety of options for designing your hardcover individually and enhancing its appeal are numerous. They include the format, type of binding, and thickness and allow you to customize your hardcover to its individual purpose.

Format:

The most popular format for hardcovers is A4 or A5 portrait, but they can also be produced in 170 x 240 mm format for you.

Number of pages:

We print your hardcover from a minimum of 32 pages, up to a maximum number of 640 pages.

Material / Finishing

Art print paper with 100 – 170 g/m2 is often used for hardcovers, as well as 80 - 90 g/m2 book paper or offset paper. You may also order matt or shiny cellophane coating for your hardcover books and have them individually shrink-wrapped to enhance their value.

Delivery times:

Hardcover books with thread stitching are delivered within 20 workdays by standard delivery and within 15 workdays by express delivery. Books with PUR adhesive binding have a standard delivery time of only 6-8 workdays and express delivery time of 3-4 workdays.
